Who or what is Foodie Writings?
What started out as a fun food blog has become more of an obsession for Megan Osborne, writer, content director, home cook and voracious eater.
You will mostly find recipes on this site, that aim to break down the perception that great food is difficult to make. So much food content nowadays is focussed on the quickest and easiest ways to make things, further separating special occasion and restaurant-quality food from everyday accessibility.
My mission is to bridge that gap, and encourage you to bake that layer cake, slow cook that lamb and laminate that pastry – because it’s not as hard as you think and the results are always worth it.
Outside the realm of recipes and celebrating food, I’m a content director and occasional writer of food, wine and travel. You can find some of my published work below, as well as a list of just a few of the brands I’ve worked with.
